Lady Mama

Wow! Not enough people have colour in their homes in my opinion. I really like the lime green in the bedroom. And actually I'm looking at the red background on your blog page, thinking I'd like that for my dining room or bedroom.

I'm the person who paints all the rooms in my house different shades of nothing so I can redecorate constantly. That said...love it. It looks totallly awesome.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!

I want you to fly here and convince my husband that he won't actually go up in flames when his head explodes if we paint our living rooms something other than white. When we last painted, the color on the can said Olive Fog. That's just fancy words for Pretty Much White.

ADORE!!!

The improvements look great! But color doesn't matter to me as much as comfort.
And every one of your rooms looks very comfortable! If I were a guest at your house, I'd feel feel right at home!

The bedroom is my favorite. Wow... I wouldn't have expected that green to work, but it totally does.

Lady Mama - thanks! That green came out better than expected. We're thinking a pop of red for Keen's den, too.

blooot - Thank you! There is something to be said for being able to redecorate at a moment's notice.

FADKOG - I hope you get to change your husband's mind! It seems there are people who love color and people who love white. I figure paint is pretty easy to paint over if you hate it, so I'm willing to try things out. But that's easy to say when the hubby agrees.

Scott - We definitely are big on comfort. I'd never go for couches that look good but aren't comfy. I want a perfect spot to veg out in front of the TV.

TwoBusy - The green is my favorite, too! Now I only need to get some pictures up.

I love the colors you chose! I think they all work because you have white and it makes the colors pop without being overkill. I just moved into a new house and am currently stripping 10 rooms of wallpaper and dealing with dingy beige everywhere else. You inspire me to go for it and try bolder colors!

The green for your bedroom looks extremely similar to the green I painted my bathroom. And I LOVE IT. In fact I love all your colours. It's impossible to feel glum with all that lightness and brightness and joy.

LOVE IT! But then, you are talking to the woman who has painted her office cranberry red and her kitchen tangerine orange. Life is too short for boring walls! La!

Andi @udandi

I LOVE it, especially your kitchen! I enjoyed meeting you at (the ragu) lunch at blogher and look forward to following your blog.
